The purpose of utilizing a book editor is to gain a perspective on our writing that is outside of ourselves. We can be so wrapped up in our work that we lose sight on the reader experience. That's where I come in. I understand how personal writing can be, and I will respect your ideas and your manuscript. This is your story, after all!

We will foster your skills and improve your overall storytelling abilities, focusing on the development of your craft as much as that of your project. Through a combination of tools, resources, and activities, we will improve all aspects of your manuscript, from the foundation, to the details, to the big picture. I know exactly when to add pressure and when to lean into encouragement. My goal is to help you refine your vision so you can share your story with readers and leave a lasting impression.

Sometimes that means applying a lot of hard work and making great big changes to what we as writers were convinced was perfect. Just remember: I'm on your side, and I will challenge you and your story to become better every day.
